Summer Experiences
Product
The area I want to specialize in, aligning my aptitudes/interests and using my experience in teaching, club leadership, and engineering to help teams create beautiful & impactful products.
Future?
Study Abroad
Traveled to Pakistan, Jordan, UAE, & more while attending an Arabic language program to fufill my graduation requirement, going from 0 vocabulary to intermediate proficiency.
Summer 2024
Manufacturing Engineering Intern @ Formlabs
Owned new sensor testing validation fixture (mechanical & electrical subassemblies), designing, machining, & testing it for Form 4 NPI. Shadowed engineering lead, gaining product management intuition. Machined emergency parts (no do-overs) to a 10-micron tolerance for CMs.
Summer 2023
Project Intern @ SAMSAT
Developed product roadmap & back-end + CAD models for machine learning scanner app that recognized exhibits and displayed explanatory 3D models for 100K+ visitors.
Summer 2022
MIT Online Science, Technology, Engineering Community
Interviewed Nobel Laureate & wrote award winning scientific article on carbon capture. Created climate simulation for a nuclear powered carbon capture system.
Summer 2021
Featured Projects
Moment in Time
A custom shuttered clock product, inspired by my interest in cameras & photography.
Electric Longboard
Built, wired, & (most importantly) rode custom motorized longboard
Water Kiosk (Engineers Without Borders)
Designing 100K liter water tank kiosk system with Revit & engineering analysis tools. Designed transmission valve box built in Los Sanchez, DR.
Combat Robot
An antweight combat robot designed and 3D printed (SLS, SLA) for Formlabs' annual hackathon.
Robot with Grabber Arm
Created overall CAD assembly & built grabber arm, winning "Best CAD" & 2nd in Harvard competition
Glowing Embers
A charred wood lamp built for my MIT Product Design course.

About Me
Hey! I'm Moeen, an interdisciplinary Electrical & Computer Engineering student (graduating May
2026) with industry experience in design for manufacturability, mechanical analysis, and
software development. I am creating my own degree at Harvard right now, a Bachelor of Science
degree called "Humanitarian Engineering," which is set to be approved next year.
Why? Well, I care about creating things that help people's lives. It's why I imbue energy and
inventiveness into everything I do. It's why I am always seeking to push the technological
envelope with my Harvard & MIT coursework. It's why I am mission-driven about solving real
problems to improve lives, something I proved as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Formlabs
by taking initiative and solving problems before they even happened, creating fixtures and
emergency parts for various teams.
Now, I want to learn as much as possible in the technology industry by taking ownership and
delivering my best in a fast-paced team setting, specifically after my experiences as a lead
designer at Harvard's Engineers Without Borders. Whether it's someone in Kibuone, Kenya, or a
first-time product user, I specialize in putting myself in different shoes and using first
principles to solve the problems that matter most.
I try my best to cultivate genuine relationships and create community as a part of my philosophy
of creating impact on all levels, teaching at Harvard's largest CS course and entering multiple
leadership positions in campus engineering clubs. I plan on bringing my creativity, ambition,
curiosity, and more to wherever I go next!
P.S: Looking at you, Product Management/Product Engineering ;)
